The Par Club is locally owned and operated by Tom Muldoon in Castle Rock, Colorado, just off downtown. It opened with six simulator bays, a full bar, and a simple idea: build a place where people can gather around golf without having to prove they belong there first. It is independent — not a franchise or a chain.
Tom Muldoon spent a career in corporate consulting. It was a world built on data, deliverables, and efficiency, and he was good at it. He also spent that career watching what happens to people inside systems that treat play and belonging as things you earn once the real work is done.
His father led differently — calm, grounded, funny, and certain about what mattered. He was the kind of person who made a room easier to be in, and he never made anyone earn their place in it. Play was a normal part of life, and that is what The Par Club is all about.
The Par Club is what happens when you build a business around helping others have fun and enjoy spending time together. You don't have to prove you belong here. You just have to show up.
